Services will be 11 a.m. Monday in McMullin-Young Funeral Home, Sullivan, with the Rev. John Maples officiating. Visitation will be one hour before services.
Burial will be in French Cemetery. Memorials: French Cemetery in care of Orval Clayton, Allenville.
Mrs. Black was born on Jan. 23, 1888, in Moultrie County, daughter of A.J. and Rosa Ellen Mallory French. She was a member of the Allenville Methodist Church. She married John R. Black in 1910. He died in 1965.
Surviving are her daughters, Marie Enterline and Bettie Denham, both of Sullivan; brother, the Rev. George French of Superior, Wis.; five
grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren.
One daughter, six brothers and three sisters preceded her in death.
