J. W. HENDERSON
After suffering for several weeks with an acute case of kidney trouble, death came to the relief of J. W. Henderson Tuesday afternoon. Deceased was born in Wisconsin and served in the civil war, being the youngest veteran in the state. He came to this county nearly forty years ago and for twelve years was county superintendent. He has been actively engaged in education work during his entire residence in this county and had just closed a term of school in the country when taken sick. The funeral will be held today from the Methodist church under the auspices of the G. A. R. Deceased was also a member of the Maccabee lodge and carried $1,000. insurance.
