Norma Lee Biggs, RR 4, Lawrenceville, IL, died Tuesday, November 22, 2005, at the Good Samaritan Hospital in Vincennes, IN. She was 79.

Born in Decker, IN, on July 23, 1926, she was the daughter of Raymond Catt and Alma Hobson Catt. She married James William "Bud" Biggs on August 29, 1944, in Vincennes, IN, and he survives.

She was a sales clerk at Studley's Pharmacy and a member of the May Chapel Church.

Survivors include her husband James of Lawrenceville; three daughters, Sandra Thorn of Hopkinsville, KY, Joy Biggs of Lawrenceville and Elaine Hamer of Indianapolis, IN; one sister, Louann Hayward of Lambertville, MI; four grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents and one sister.

Funeral services were held Friday, November 25, 2005, at the Smith Funeral Home in Lawrenceville, IL.

Burial was in the May Chapel Cemetery, east of Lawrenceville, IL.

Memorials may be made to the May Chapel Church through the funeral home.
