Services for H. Everett Lane, 71, of 1400 Mattern Ave., who died of a heart ailment Friday at his home, will be at 1:30 p.m. Monday at Hamilton's Funeral Home, with burial in Masonic Cemetery.

Mr. Lane, a native of Lineville, had been a Des Moines resident for 50 years. He operated the former Thriftway Store at E. Twelfth street and University avenue before his retirement in 1963 and was a member of Home Masonic Lodge.

Survivors include his wife Elva, and two sisters, Mrs. Murl Wiles and Mrs. Kathleen Browning, both of Des Moines.
