Visitation will be from 9 a.m. to funeral time Thursday
at Bell Baptist Church in Raceland. Religious service will be at 11 a.m. Thursday at the church, with burial in Brooklyn Cemetery in Raceland.
She is survived by her adopted son, Herman Smith and wife, Rose, of Capitol Heights, Md.; her stepdaughter, Susie Shelvy of Raceland; her caregiver, Beatrice Johnson
of Raceland; and two grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Edward Cooper; and her parents, Howard Robinson and Ophelia Nickol.She served as an usher for many years at Bell Baptist Church.
Kenndey Funeral Home of Raceland is in charge of arrangements.
