PRINCETON - Mrs. Elsie Bailey, 81, of the Athens Road in Princeton died Fr iday, Oct. 22, 2004 at the Princeton
Community Hospital. Born Dec. 17, 1922 at Princeton, she was the daught er of the late Robert and Elsie Louise McGuire Yancey. She was educat ed in Mercer Co. and was a life long resident. She was a former employee f or the Maidenform Company of Princeton and for many years worked by her la te husband's Virgil side at the service station on the Athens Road in Prin ceton. She was a member of the Grace Christian Church on the Athens Ro ad in Princeton.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Virgil Bailey, two sisters; Geniva Omdalin and Dorothy Todd along with brothers, Milton, Herbert and Herold Yancey.
Survivors include two daughters, Judith M. Kowalewski and Cynthia Fren ch of Princeton, two grandchildren, Terran Weitzel and Robert Kowalewski Jr.; five great grandchildren; special friends and caregivers, Mary Burdette and Shirley O'Quinn; and a very special little girl whom she loved so much, Heather Miller.
Funeral Services will be held 2 p.m., Monday, Oct. 25, 2004 from the Burns Wornal Chapel of the Memorial Funeral Directory on the Athens Road in Princeton with Pastor Jim Bailey officiating. Burial will follow in the
Roselawn Memorial Gardens on the Courthouse Road in Princeton.
Friends may visit with the family today from 6 until 8 p.m., at the funer al home and on line condolence www.memorialfd.com.
