He came to Hazel Run, Minnesota, December 3, 1902, where he spent his life until June 16, 1958, when he and his wife moved to their new home in Clarkfield where he resided until his death.
He was baptized in Sweden and confirmed in District 45 of Normania Township. On February 27, 1918, he was united in marriage to Ellen T. Olson of Parkers Prairie, Minnesota. To this union six sons were born.
Deceased is survived by his wife and two sons, Kerman of Granite Falls, Minnesota, and Erling of Hanley Falls, Minnesota; three grandchildren; one sister, Ingaborg (Mrs. Fred Oftedahl) of Hanley Falls; one brother, Olaf of Langby, Minnesota; and several nieces and nephews and a host of friends.
He was preceded in death by four sons; his parents; one sister, Charlotte (Mrs. M.T. Anderson); and two brothers, Axel and Victor.
