Catherine was married to Ernest Ian Torrence for thirty years and they had two children, Bruce Thomson and Linda. Ian passed away in 1966. 1970 she married Sargent Kahanamoku from Honolulu, Hawaii. They were married ten years before she passed away. She was brought back to Santa Barbara for her final resting place.
