LATTA - Miss Bernice Bass died Sunday morning at her residence. Graveside services will be at 1 a.m. Tuesday in the Antioch Baptist Church Cemetery with the Rev. T. J. Anderson officiating. Pallbearers will be deacons of the Latta Baptist Church.
Miss Bass was a daughter of the late Addison J. and Ellen Watson Bass of Dillon County.
Miss Bass was a member of the Latta Baptist Church. She was the owner and operator of a mercantile business here for several years.
Surviving are three sisters, Mrs. Maggie Bass Bethea and Miss Emma Bass, both of Latta, and Mrs. Eunice Bass Smith of Maxton, NC.
