CHAPMANVILLE, W.Va. — Mr. Johnny K. Adams, 51, of Chapmanville, was born April 20, 1959, at Logan, a son of Lyle and Alice F. Gore Adams of Chapmanville. He went to be with the Lord Monday, August 16, 2010, at his home.

Mr. Adams was a graduate of Chapmanville High School, class of 1977 and the Southland Bible Institute at Ashland, Ky. He was a member off the First Church of Christ at Chapmanville.

Additional survivors include two daughters: Kelly and Katie, both of Morristown, Tenn.; brothers: Eric (Dollie) Adams of Chapmanville and Bruce (Teena) Adams of Chillicothe, Ohio; three grandchildren, several aunts, uncles, cousins, friends and a special niece, Erica Keck.

Entombment and services will be conducted at 11 a.m. Friday, August 20, at the Forest Lawn Cemetery Mausoleum at Pecks Mill.

Visitation will begin after 6 p.m. Thursday at the First Church of Christ at Chapmanville with a memorial service conducted at 7 p.m. with Mr. Chad Neil, Mr. Arnold Adams and Mr. Jerry Chapman Jr. officiating.
