Myrtice Marie Sweeney Elliott, age 87, of Bagdad, died October 2, 2004. She was
born in Bradley, Alabama and had resided in this area most of her life. She was
of the baptist faith.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Alford and Mattie Sweeney and several
brothers and sisters.
She is survived by three daughters, Faye Watson of Pace, Barbara (Neal) Braxton
of Pea Ridge, Evelyn (Tubby) Hinote of Bagdad; one son, Robert "Bud" Elliott of
Milton; one sister, Ann Wilks of Bagdad; 13 grandchildren; 18 great
grandchildren; 5 great- great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be conducted at 11:00 a.m. Monday from the Donnie Sowell
Funeral Home Chapel. Rev. Jimmy Pittman will officiate with burial in the Bagdad
Cemetery.
The family will receive friends from 6-8:00 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.
Mrs. Elliott's grandsons will serve as pallbearers.
Donnie Sowell Funeral Home of Milton will be in charge of arrangements.
