William Earl Walker was the only child of Cora Elizabeth Huffman & William Hunter Walker. Grandpa for the majority of his life worked on the railroad. His occupation originally was a painter, but he found the rails to be better suited for him. He was a fireman for the railroad and later was a trainman. He took after his father William H. Walker who was a locomotive conductor for the Pennsylvania RR.
