the son of Green Berry & Ida (Ellison) Creekmore
Mary Jane (Smith) was born 21 Aug 1846 in Kentucky.

daughter of- Josiah & Mary "Polly" (Harman) Smith

Emby and Mary Jane, married 14 July 1865 after Emby returned home from the Civil War, He served as a private in the 49th Infantry company G from the state of Kentucky, on the side of the Union.
He enlisted at the age of 19.
He married Mary Jane at the age of 21
They were married 43 years and were the parents of 11 children.
Emby & Mary Jane are buried in the Piney Cemetery, in Crawford County, Arkansas,
after Mary Jane's death, Emby married twice,
