Enoch Osborne, Capt died Aug 1818 per his headstone and verified by the Court proceedings, estate appraisal and records assigning his heirs and property. Grayson Co Order Book 1811-1819 pp338. pp347 pp371.

NOTE - this following suggestion does not seem to apply to this memorial--The Enoch Osborne listed in the 1830 census of Hawkins Co, TN is listed as Free White persons--Males --30 thru 39. This is definitely not Capt Enoch Osborne!!

Captain Enoch Osborne Migrated To Tennessee & Kentucky-He's On The 1830 Tennesee Census. He Married A Cherokee Wife And Is Buried In Kentucky. He Lived To Be 100 Years Old. I Know, His Descendants Are My First Cousins, I Come From Enoch's Sister, Ellender.
