Born on July 23, 1927 in Conway he was a son of the late Sam Causey and the late Minnie Hardee Causey. Mr. Causey was a member of First Assembly of God, was a United States Air Force veteran of the Korean Conflict and retired after 65 years as a truck driver. Mr. Causey's happiest days were fishing with his sons and grandsons and reminiscing about his days on the road as a truck driver.
Survivors include his wife of Georgetown; two sons, Larry Causey (Denise) of Spartanburg and Barry Causey (Cathy) of Georgetown; a daughter Teresa Michau of Georgetown; five grandsons, two granddaughters; eight great grandchildren, and five great-great grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by a grandson, Johnny Causey.
Funeral Services will be held at 12 PM Monday August 16, 2010 at the First Assembly of God with the Rev. Dave Hoskins officiating. Burial will follow in the Pennyroyal Memorial Gardens.
The family will receive friends from 6-8 PM Sunday at First Assembly of God.
