Born in Norristown, PA on October 24, 1926 daughter of the late Edwin J. Gear & Cathrine Griffin she was a graduate of Bridgeport High School. A homemaker and a loving mother, she was a member of St. Catherine of Siena in Wilmington. She was preceded in death by her husband, retired Police Sergeant of Upper Marion Police Department, William A. Blewitt and her son, William A. Blewitt, Jr.
She is survived by her children, Edwin Blewitt of Phoenixville, PA, Cathy DeRosato of King Manor, PA, Anthony Blewitt of King of Prussia, PA, George Blewitt of Wilmington, DE, Elizabeth Edwards of Las Vegas, NV & Joseph Blewitt of Port Charlotte, FL; brother Walter Gear of Bridgeport, PA; 18 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren.
Friends and family may call from 9-10 a.m. Thursday Feb. 17, 2000 at Mother of Divine Providence, 333 Alendale Rd., King of Prussia, PA. A Funeral Mass will follow at the church. Interment Calvary Cemetery. Memorials to Department of Veterans Affairs Hospital, 1400 Black Horse Hill Road, Coatsville, PA 19320.
