Edwin James Barbieri, 57, died Nov. 16, 2002, at home of cancer. Born in San Jose, he lived in Apple Valley for 22 years. He retired after being a self-employed heavy equipment mechanic and he was member of Mountain View Baptist Church. He is survived by his wife Christina of Apple Valley; mother and step-father Kay and David Gailey of Salt Lake City, Utah; sons Jamie and Ramie of Utah; sisters Katherine Bull of Sacramento and Arna Beard of Utah; brothers Lynell and Dusty of Utah; step-sons David, Scott and Jeffery Cleveland of Victorville; and grandsons Mark, Phillip, Joseph and Derrick Cleveland of Victorville. Memorial services will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday at Mountain View Baptist Church, 15131 Sequoia St. in Hesperia. Donations may be made to the Missions Department at Mountain View Baptist Church. Aarons Cremation and Burial in Loma Linda is handling arrangements.
