Ardmore — A funeral mass is scheduled for 10 a.m. Saturday in Saint Mary's Catholic Church with Father Thomas O'Toole officiating, interment will follow in St. Mary's Cemetery. A family visitation will be held this evening from 6-7 p.m. at the Craddock Funeral Home.

Diana (Dina) Davini Adorino passed away peacefully at home surrounded by loving family on August 11, 2010. Diana was born in Bologna, Italy, to Deoninio and Maria Fiorini Davini. Her family, including her brother Roberto, later moved to Pisa, Italy. There she worked for Casa Editrice Lischi, a publishing company.

On August 5, 1946, she married Armand Adorino of Rochester, N.Y., at Cathedral of Pisa of the Leaning Tower in Italy. Shortly after arriving in the United States, Diana became an American citizen following several months of required studies in English and American history. After several years of living in Springfield, Missouri, the family moved to Ardmore in 1957 where Armand worked for Glen Oaks Manufacturing Company at Madill and Marietta and Diana volunteered her time for the many activities of the St. Mary's Women's Club. Together they raised their family and enjoyed the company of good friends. Diana enjoyed traveling, reading, embroidery, crocheting and preparing delicious Italian meals for her family and friends.

She is survived by two daughters, Diane and her husband, Shel Hirschberg of Glen Rock, New Jersey, and Gabriella and her husband, Dan Scheck of Topeka, Kansas; two adored grandchildren, Michael Adorino Hirschberg and his wife, Amber of Overland Park, Kansas, and Brian Davini Hirschberg of Bethlehem, Pennsylvania; niece, Nanda Maria Davini-Castini and her family of Viareggio, Italy.

She was predeceased by her husband, Armand in 1963.
