OBITUARY
Herbert W. Smith, 88, died Monday, Aug. 9, 2010. He was a resident of Indianapolis.
Survivors include a daughter, Rena (Gerald) Humerickhouse of Goshen; two grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, the Rev. Cecil R. and Celia (Kek) Smith; his wife, Marjorie Anson; and a brother, C. Roscoe "Smitty" Smith
Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. today at Singleton Community Mortuary and Memorial Center, 7602 Madison Ave., Indianapolis. A funeral service will be conducted at 11 a.m. Saturday at University Heights United Methodist Church, 4002 Otterbein Ave., Indianapolis, with visitation from 10 a.m. until service time Saturday at the church. Entombment will be at Washington Park East Cemetery in Indianapolis.
