A native and former resident of White Castle, she died at 9:06 a.m. Saturday, Aug. 7, 2010, at Thibodaux Regional Medical Center. She was 90 and a resident of Thibodaux for the past few years. Visiting at Mount Bethel Baptist Church, St. James, on Friday, Aug. 13, from 9:30 a.m. until religious service at 11 a.m., conducted by the Rev. Charles Geason. Interment in St. James Catholic Cemetery, St. James. Survived by a brother, John Watson; granddaughter and caregiver, Leotha and husband Matthew Dumas Sr.; three grandsons, Kevin, Keith and Aaron Robinson; 13 great-grandchildren and numerous relatives and friends. Preceded in death by her parents, Ed Spencer and Rebecca Joseph Jones-Spencer; husband, William Breaud; sister, Jane Spencer; brothers, Robert Spencer Sr., Wilbert Jones and Percy Gibson; and son, Oscar Robinson Jr. At her request, there will be no repast after the service. Arrangements by Brazier-Watson Funeral Home, Donaldsonville.
