Alma Lee (Tackett) Beach, age 91, passed from this life on Saturday, August 21, 2021 at the Carroll County Memorial Hospital. She entered life on May 15, 1930 the daughter of Shelby William and Ida Cromer Tackett. Alma was a faithful member of the Relevant Church and retired as an in-home caregiver to the sick and infirmed. She enjoyed reading her Bible, gardening, cooking, canning, always "giving" to someone and was known for her pumpkin rolls.

Survivors include: her husband; Albert K. Beach, whom she married September 29, 1944, her four daughters; Joyce Faye (John) Burns of Carrollton, KY, Leona May Henderson of Worthville, KY, Dolores Gail Beach of Elizabethtown, KY and Ida Lynn (Charles) Adkins of Waverly, OH, a sister; Magalene Overbay of Independence, KY, two brothers; Robert Tackett of Walton, KY and Lloyd Ray Tackett of Independence, KY, sixteen grandchildren, 31 great-grandchildren and 23 great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, two sons; Robert Wayne Beach and William Albert "Billy" Beach, three sisters; Ruby Kathleen Courtney, Jewell Christine Tackett and Edna Hiles, a half-sister; Mary Doan, two brothers; Carl Tackett and Orville Tackett, a granddaughter; Stacey G. Ward and a grandson, Johnny K. Burns.
