Their marriage ended in divorce in 1939 at Dade County, Florida.
On June 7, 1939 as Daniel B. Washington, he married Bernice T. Dively (born 1915) at Dade County, Florida.
They were the parents of one child.
In July 1958 as Daniel B. Washington, age 54, he married Mary V. Ressa, age 43 at District of Columbia.
Dr. Daniel Boone Washington was a native of the District of Columbia. He graduated from the old Central High School and George Washington University School of Medicine. He was a descendant of William Augustine Washington, nephew of President George Washington. He was a physician in the District and Maryland suburbs for 39 years, retiring in 1971. He died at age 69 on Monday, July 2, 1973 at Bel Pre Health Center in Silver Spring after a long illness. Survivors included his wife of Westbard Avenue in Bethesda; one daughter of Silver Spring; two stepdaughters of Silver Spring and Oxon Hill; two stepsons of Brookville, Maryland and Gaithersburg; one sister, Mrs. John Kerr of the District; two granddaughters and 14 step-grandchildren. Services were held at the Robert Pumphrey Funeral Home, 7557 Wisconsin Avenue in Bethesda. Interment was at Oak Hill Cemetery.
