43, of Massillon passed away on Friday, August 6, 2010. Born on February 13, 1967 to David and Donna Bauschka, Scott was 1985 graduate of Massillon Washington High School and Kent State. He was commissioned as a police officer in 1987 and appointed Navarre Police Chief in November of 2000. Scott was proud of his many accomplishments as a police officer epically for being able to bring the D.A.R.E program to the Fairless area. He enjoyed cannoning, golfing, going to the beach, cooking out, sports, notably the Massillon Tigers. But, most of all he enjoyed his time with his family and friends. He loved to make people laugh.
Scott is preceded in death by his paternal grandmother, Claire Carr; maternal grandmother, Jo Esposito; grandmother, Virgilia Tucker; and several family members and friends. He will be greatly missed by his children, Kristin (Frank) Alexander of Beach City, Megan (Dan Ahmer) Bauschka of Sandusky and Scott Bauschka Jr. of Massillon; grandchildren, Aryanna Claire, Kourtney, Deegan, and Gavin; brothers, David Bauschka Jr. of Okla., Jeff (Shanny) Shanabarger of Canton, fiancé, Paula Kaufman, and chimp, of Massillon; ex-wife, Janine Bauschka of Tucson, Ariz.; uncle, Jack (Carla) Lundgren; and many extended family members and many friends.
Funeral Services will be held Wednesday, Aug. 11, 2010 at Atkinson Feucht Hare Funeral Home at 7 p.m. Friends may call at the funeral home on Wednesday from 4-7 p.m. Memorial contributions may be made to any Huntington bank, where a memorial fund has been established for Scott's children.
