Mrs. Grace Bell 1981 Bridgewater Bulletin

Mrs. Grace Bell, 80, of West Dublin, died Friday, February 27, in the Dawson Memorial Hospital, Bridgewater.

Born in Petite Riviere, she was a daughter of the late Freeman and Alice (Eikle) Jodrey.

A graduate of Nova Scotia Teachers College, she taught in several schools in Nova Scotia and also worked at the Massachusetts State Hospital, Worcester, Mass., for several years.

She is survived by several nieces and nephews in Nova Scoita and the United States. She was predeceased by her husband, Charles; a sister, Vivian; and two brothers, Gavis and Courtney.

Funeral service was held from St. John's Anglican Church, West Dublin, on Monday, March 2, at 11 a.m., Rev. Dana Dean officiating, with burial in St. Michael's Church Cemetery, Petite Riviere.

Pallbearers were Mervyn and Elliot Corkum, Percy Haughn, and Lloyd A. Corkum. Organist was Mrs. Lloyd Corkum with choir members from the parish churches, singing, "The Sands of Time" and "The Lord's My Shepherd."
