Mrs. Livina C. Shatzer, widow of George Shatzer, died suddenly yesterday afternoon at the home of her daughter, Mrs. A. G. Hoover from an affection of the heart. She was aged 71 years and was a member of the First United Brethren Church, this place. She is survived by these children: Mrs. A. G. Hoover of near town, Carl M. Shatzer in the medical corps in France, John A. Shatzer of Evanston, Ill. And J. Grant Shatzer of town; also by one sister, Mrs. John Lutz of Chambersburg. Funeral services at home of her son, J. Grant Shatzer in Glen Street on Monday afternoon at 2:30 o'clock. Interment at Cedar Grove Cemetery.
