Marie Hatfield, 92, of Branchland, W.Va., went home to be with the Lord on Tuesday, February 23, 2010.
Funeral services will be conducted at 1 p.m. Saturday, February 27, 2010, at the Wallace Funeral Home & Chapel, Barboursville, W.Va., by the Rev. Robert Hatfield. Burial will be in Ben Hatfield Cemetery.
She was born January 11, 1918, in Cabell County, W.Va., a daughter of the late Christopher Vannatter.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Rev. Homer Hatfield, one son, Clarkie Smith, and one daughter, Debbie Martin.
She is survived by two daughters, Vickie (Bob) Emerick of Barboursville and Barbara Martin of Branchland; six sons, Fred Hatfield and Larry (Beverly) Hatfield, both of Branchland, Kenny (Terry) Hatfield of Lincoln County, Ted (Sharon) Hatfield, Steve Hatfield, and Rick Hatfield and Patty Compston, all of Branchland; one sister, Imogene Rayburn; 20 grandchildren and 21 great-grandchildren.
