Funeral services will take place at 11 a.m. today, Dec. 31, at Huston-Jost Funeral Home. Private burial will follow at Lebanon's I.O.O.F. Cemetery.
She was born Dec. 10, 1918, in Cosmopolis, Wash., the son of John B. and Bertha (Brown) Parrish. She was raised in Washington.
On May 4, 1935, she married Varner E. Tacy in Walla Walla, Wash. They moved to Lebanon in 1947.
She was a member of the American Legion Auxiliary, 8 and 40, volunteered in the PTA, and was a member of Lebanon's Good Sam Club.
Mrs. Tacy is survived by her husband, Varner, of Lebanon; sons Bill Tacy of Lebanon, Dave Tacy of Bend, and Patrick Tacy of Salem; daughters Mary Youmans and Linda Milligan, both of Lebanon; 18 grandchildren; 44 great-grandchildren; and three great-great-grandchildren.
Two brothers and a sister died before her.
