John E. Bartlett married first Eliza Tucker(1801-1843) leaving for America in 1821 the day after they married. After she died he married a second time to Susan Craig(the license says Susannah)in 1850. Susan died in 1868. Three children probably came with them to Il. They were Elizabeth, born in 1831. George Jacob, born in 1836 and Eliza Ann born in 1838. Eliza Ann also is seen as Anne E. and Anna. The second marriage had two children Sarah born in 1852 and John H. born in 1854. This information came from my own research at the JCHS in Murphysboro in the family file and the headstone for Anne E. in the Williamson Cemetery and the Obituaries for Mary Elizabeth Williamson LePere in several newspapers, Mary being the daughter of Ann E. Bartlett Williamson and her husband Henry E. Williamson.
