Susie was actually born in the Choctaw Nation, Indian Territory which is now Oklahoma. Oklahoma did not become a state until 1907.
Susie met and married James "Jim" Thomas Anderson, Jr. on November 23, 1894 in Garland County, Arkansas. A copy of their marriage license is in Jim's Family History Book. Together Jim and Susie had eleven children.
