Our beloved Grandma "A" passed peacefully on August 6, 2010 after suffering a severe stroke, rejoining her sweetheart, Eugene Knight Amundsen, who preceded her. Gene and Helen were married in the Salt Lake Temple on September 11, 1953. She resided at 597 North 400 East in Bountiful, Utah at the time of her death.

Helen lived a life of service, which included an LDS mission, family history and temple work, uniting families on both sides of the veil. She is now rejoicing with the more than 30,000 ancestors she spent her life researching.

To Grandma "A" nothing was "impossumable." She was a remarkable seamstress, pianist and tatter extraordinaire. Many people will continue to treasure her tatted Christmas snowflakes.

Survived by her daughters -- Lyn (Rick) Bessey, Leslie (Dan) Brimhall, Karen (Tye) Haslam, eighteen grandchildren, and seventeen great-grandchildren.

A viewing will be held on Sunday, August 8, 2010 from 6:00 to 7:30 p.m. in the Bountiful Tabernacle, 51 South Main Street, Bountiful, Utah. There will be a family service following the viewing.
A graveside service will be held on Monday, August 9, 2010 at 11:00 a.m. at Lakeview Memorial Estates Cemetery, 1640 East Lakeview Drive (1100 South), Bountiful.
