In the name of God Amen! I, Wm Frank, of the County of Rowan & State of N. Caroline, being in perfect health of body and sound in mind and memory, but knowing the frailty of human nature and not knowing how soon it may please God to call me out of this transitory world, I do for the better regulation of my affairs and for the price of harmony of those whom I shall leave behind me, think proper to make this my last will and test: and in the first place I give and bequeath my soul to God who gave it and my body to buried in a Christian and decent manner at the discretion of my executors hereafter named, the expense to be by them paid out of my estate and as for what worldly substance it had pleased God to Bestow upon me I give and bequeath in the following manner: In the first place I give and bequeath to my beloved wife, Barbara Frank, all my whole estate both real and personal so long as she remains my widow, but in case she should marry, she is then only to be entitled to her third of the same. In the second place I give and bequeath to my son Martin Frank the tract of land whereon he now resides on the west of Abbits Creek containing two hundred and seventy acres.
