HENRIETTA — T.R. "Bud" Brixey, 82, of Iowa Park, Texas, passed away on Monday, February 25, 2013.

Funeral services will be at 1 p.m., Thursday, February 28, 2013 at the Kamay Baptist Church in Kamay, Texas with Rev. Jack Jordan, pastor, officiating and Rev. Mark Mitchell of Dennison, Texas assisting. Burial will be in the Bluegrove Cemetery in Bluegrove, Texas under the direction of Davis Funeral Home in Henrietta, Texas.

Mr. Brixey was born on June 6, 1930 in Clay County, Texas to Ralph Lee and Addie (Watts) Brixey. He married Louise (Marchvanks) Tennant on January 21, 2012 in Kamay, Texas. Mr. Brixey retired after 30 years of services with Longhorn Truck and Trailer as the truck parts manager. He was a member of the Kamay Baptist Church in Kamay, Texas where he served as Deacon.

Mr. Brixey was preceded in death by his parents, wife Annella and one sister Alta Lee Eastlake.

Survivors include wife Louise Brixey of Kamay, Texas; one daughter, Lee Ann Beall and husband Charles of Ada, Oklahoma; three sons, John Brixey and wife Cathy of Fredrick, S. Dakota, James Brixey and wife Debbie of Kamay, Texas and Jeryl Brixey and wife Kristi of Lewisville, Texas; fourteen grandchildren, J.C. Brixey, T.R. Brixey, Rusty Brixey, Gunther Brixey, B.J. Brixey, Audrey Kotzur, Kayla Brixey, J.F. Brixey, Lee Brixey, Spencer Beall, Olivia Beall, Kaytlin Brixey, Kamryn Brixey and Jordyn Brixey; two great-grandchildren, Jerek Brixey and Hana Radojkovic-Brixey; two sisters, Betty Jo Berrett of Salt Lake City, Utah and Gay Wofford of Lockney, Texas; one brother-in-law Jerry Dunaway and wife Gail of Farmers Branch, Texas; one step-daughter, Jan Horton and husband Bennie of Bella Vista, Arkansas; two step-grandchildren, Cody Horton and Shaun Horton and wife Tracy; two step-great-grandchildren, Cowan Horton and Larry Tennant.
