THE PARIS NEWS, Sunday, 11 Jul 1943, p. 2: “R. A. LANDERS - R. A. Lnadrs, 59, died Saturday at Shreveport, La. Funeral services will be held Monday afternoon at 3 o’clock at Manton-Fry Funeral Home. Surviving are one son, Franklin Landers; and these brothers and sisters: Oscar L. Landers, Roxton; Knox Landers, Roxton; John Landers, Denison; Dr. J. B. Landers, Amarillo; Ray Landers; Gill Landers, Houston; Mrs. J. H. Adams, Byers, Tex.; Mrs. Hayden Bowen, Roxton; Mrs. W. J. Stockton, San Antonio; Mrs. Bertha Crafton, Cunningham; Mrs. Forest Walker, Amarillo.”
