Liberator #41-28607 "Sage Lady."

Shot down over the Adriatic Sea by two
German Fw190 fighter planes while on
mission to Austria. Only the co-pilot
survived and was taken as a POW.

A cenotaph is located next to the grave of his father in Worthington Cemetery.

The other crew members KIA were:
