Betty Jean Ross, age 80, of Hemet, California, passed away peacefully at her home on Friday, June 12, 2009. She was born on Sunday, March 31, 1929, in Indianapolis, Indiana, to Emery and Mildred (Wilmoth) Graham.
Betty was a member of the Community Christian Church in Hemet. She enjoyed cooking and baking from scratch and had a wonderful spoon collection. Betty was a dedicated wife and mother who always had room for one more at the table.
She was married to William F. Ross on June 1, 1947 in Fortville, Indiana. They were married for 55 years and he preceded her in death.
She is survived by her daughter Lois Ross of Hemet, and sons, Glen Ross of Ava, Missouri, Doug Ross and Joseph Ross of Hemet, Brian Ross and Larry Ross of Bern, Kansas, and Donald Ross of Dubois, Nebraska; her siblings, James Graham Sr. of Fortville, Indiana, Orv Graham of Decatur, Illinois, Walter Graham and Vivian Kittrell of Fairfield Bay, Arkansas, and David Graham of Indianapolis, Indiana; 16 grandchildren; and 15 great grandchildren.
A Graveside Service will be held on Monday, June 22, 2009, at San Jacinto Valley Cemetery at 1:30 p.m.
