Mrs. Florence Branton, 84, of 401 Schanck Ave., Pen Argyl, died yesterday at St. Luke's Hospital, Fountain Hill, where she was a patient two weeks.
Born in Pen Argyl, she was a daughter of the late Mark and Susan Poyer Hendershot. Her husband was the late Harry Branton.
She was a member of Betheny United Methodist Church, Pen Argyl, and its Seibert Bible Class and the WSCS of the church. She was an honorary member of the Pen Argyl Woman's Club.
Survivors include two sons, Nelson Allentown, and Alfred, Philadelphia; two daughters, Mrs. James Nixon, Easton, and Mrs. Karl Bucholz, Pen Argyl; six grandchildren and 20 great-grandchildren.
The funeral will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday at the Nicholas V. Guerro Funeral Home, Pen Argyl. Internment will be in Fairview Cemetery, Pen Argyl.
