The aircraft , named "Heavenly Body",
was on a night cross-country exercise.
Whilst turning, just North of Nailstone, near Ibstock,
the aircraft's nose dropped,
and the port wing struck the ground.
The machine was completely destroyed by
fire and explosion.
Sadly, all on board were killed.
The crew and passenger members were:
