KIRBYVILLE--Funeral for Marvin Ernest Sheffield, 76, will be at 2:00 PM today in Friendship Missionary Baptist Church with burial in the church cemetery under the direction of Causey's E E Stringer Funeral Home.
He died at 10:00 AM Tuesday in Jasper Memorial Hospital after an illness. A Kirbyville native, he was a retired butcher and employee of Jasper County.
Survivors include his wife, Erma Kelley Sheffield; two sisters, Esta Bohannon of Roganville and Lena Burnett of Newton, and two brothers, Bob Sheffield of Huntsville and Bruce Sheffield of Roganville.
