Harrisons parents were Abraham Grant Whanger and Sarah E Reynolds. Mother Sarah died in 1898 and father Abraham remarried Josie Emma Livesay in 1900.
Harrison had 1 full brother (Jesse Jacob Whanger) and 7 other step brothers and sisters.
Harrisons father Abraham also died in 1918 (in the USA) but in the early 1930's his stepmother Josie made the 'pilgrimage' to visit Harrison's memorial.
