Funeral services for Velma Barger, 91, of Forsyth, will be held at 11 a.m. Aug. 6, 2010, at the Faith Lutheran Church in Branson. Visitation will begin at 10. Burial will be at Ozarks Memorial Park in Branson.
She died Aug. 1, 2010, at the Pt. Lookout Nursing & Rehab Center in Hollister.
She was preceded in death by her parents, James and Allie VanHorn; husband Charles; and one brother.
She was born Feb. 6, 1919, in Bricelyn, Minn., and moved to Forsyth from Davenport, Iowa, in 1983. She was a member of the faith Lutheran Church in Branson.
Survivors include daughter Karen and husband Danny Robertson, of Branson; brother Charles VanHorn, of Boone, Iowa.; three grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
