Hazel I. Clingaman, 89, Peru, went to be with the Lord at 4:20 p.m. Friday, March 6, 2009 at her grandson's home in Marion surrounded by her family. She was born April 30, 1919 in Havre, Mont. to Jesse and Maude (Johnson) Miller. She was married to Cecil Clingaman from 1945 to 1973, and he preceded her in death in 1996. Hazel was a homemaker and formerly employed at the Senior Center in Peru. She also worked at several Peru factories. Survivors include three daughters, Carolyn Everest, Lafayette, Rosalind "Rosie" Herrell, Peru, and Cynthia Beaver and husband Mallory, Peru; 11 grandchildren, David and Debbie Fox, Scott Everest, Christina Booth, Max Herrell II, Curtis Herrell, Tammy Meadows, James Cattin, Shane Cattin, and Derek and Douglas Beaver; 12 great-grandchildren, Kayla, Jake, Ashley, Shelby, Dillon, Braxton, Dalton, Nicholette, Nathan, Coulton, Jordan and Sierra; and two sisters, Mildred Nicolai, Syracuse, and Marilyn Hodgson, Goshen. She was preceded in death by her parents, her former husband, five brothers, three sisters and a son, Charles Clingaman. Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday at Flowers-Leedy Funeral Home, 105 W. Third St., with Pastor Tom Brown officiating. Burial will be in Chili Cemetery, Chili. Friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m. Monday at the funeral home. Love offerings may be made to the family.
