Sylvester Critz
Word came to his children here Thursday, July 21st of the death of Sylvester Critz at the home of his daughter, Mrs. Chas. Wadley at Lacona that morning at 10:30. The funeral services were held at the Catholic church in Woodburn Saturday at 10:30 and the remains laid to rest beside his wife in the cemetery there. Mrs. Critz died some eighteen years ago.
The deceased was the father of nine children all of whom are living. They are Geo. S. and Frank N. of Osceola, John A. and Wm. F. of Homer, Nebr., Lena Putz of Oakley, Katie Hockabout of Hastings, Iowa, Anna Wadley of Lacona, and Frances Armagost and Chas. Critz of Osceola.
Mr. Critz lived on his farm east of Osceola for twenty years but for the past two years has been making his home with his daughter, Mrs. Wadley.
