David was the youngest child of Allen Clarence Oliver and Louard Ethel Milstead
He served in the Vietnam War. After the war he was stationed in Korea where he met and married his wife Kim Young Bun.
After their marriage he was transferred back to the states to Fort Sill, Oklahoma.
David died from pneumonia.
He was the brother of J.C., Gene, and Nellie Katherine Oliver
