Bessie was the only girl born to Robert and Alison Coon. She worked for the NY Central Railroad in White Plains and Detroit. In 1950 she retired, moving to Florida with her long time friend, Frances L Deister "Francie". They had a house in Riviera Beach Florida.
She never married.
