J. T. Alexander dies at Home; Rites Thursday

James Thomas Alexander, 85, of Jamestown died at 12:30 p, yesterday at his home. He was Moniteau County assessor from 1937 until 1944.

Mr. Alexander was a member of the Prairie Home Methodist church and Moniteau Masonic Lodge No. 257 at Jamestown.

He was born on Oct. 28, 1878, in Jamestown, the son of Nero Alexander and Martha Bruce Alexander. On Sept 29, 1927, me married the former Miss Emma Burgi, who survives.

Other survivors include two daughters, Mrs. Nellie Langkop of Prairie Home and Mrs. Kathryn Reuzer, of Jamestown; and one son Hugh Alexander, of Jamestown.

Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. tomorrow at the Williams Funeral Home in California City Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be Raymond Marshall, Ralph Garrett, Dorsey Clay, R. S. Bruce, Floyd Weiser, and Ralph Muri.
