Betty R. Bennett, 82, of Fortville, passed away Sunday, April 19, 2009 at
Harbour Manor Health Care in Noblesville. She was born March 12, 1927 in
Greenfield, Indiana to the late Perry and Martha (Ware) Webb.
She retired from the Ft. Benjamin Harrison Finance and Accounting Center. Betty
was a graduate of Greenfield High School and a member of the Fortville Christian
Church.
She is survived by daughters: Barbara (Dave) Elmore of Fortville; Elizabeth
(Jeff) Sisk of Ingalls; Kathryn (Bob) Hawley of Colorado Springs, CO; and Bobbi
(Ernie) Smith of Ingalls; 7 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren. Betty was
preceded in death by her husband, Robert J. Bennett; sister, Mary Dice; and
brother Ralph Webb.
Friends may call on Thursday, April 23, 2009 from 4 to 8 pm at Seals Funeral
Home & Cremation Services, Fortville. The funeral service will take place
Friday, April 24, 2009 at 10 am at the funeral home. Burial will follow at
Gravel Lawn Cemetery, Fortville.
