C.G. Blake 1910
Charles Glenville Blake, a graduate of Sibley College in the class of 1910, died on March 31 at the West Penn Hospital in Pittsburgh after an operation for appendicitis. He was a son of the Rev. and Mrs. James H.W. Blake, of Washington, D.C. and was twenty-six years old. He was a member of the Beta Theta Pi Fraternity, Mummy Club, Senators, Sunday Night Club, Savage Club and Masque. He was an active member of the Cornell Club of Western Pennsylvania and of the East End Young Men’s Christian Association of Pittsburgh.
About two weeks before his death, announcement was made of Blake’s engagement to Miss Sarah Cromish, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. W.L. Cromish, of Pittsburgh. His parents, two sisters and a brother survive him.

Funeral services for Charles Grenville Blake, son of the Rev. James H.W. Blake, of Christ Church, Georgetown, who died Wednesday in Pittsburgh, were held at 3 o'clock yesterday afternoon at the church of which his father is pastor. Bishop Alfred Harding officiated and was assisted by the Rev. J.J. Dimon and E.E. Sparling. The body, which was brought to Washington on Thursday, was buried in Oak Hill Cemetery. Miss Sarah Cromlish, to whom Mr. Blake had recently become engaged, attended the services. She left for her home in Pittsburgh last night.

His fiance, Sarah McWhinney Cromlish of Pittsburgh married Edward Louis Wetstein on October 27, 1915. They were the parents of four daughters.
