Dexter, IO.. March 5, 1876.
Whereas, The Almighty, through the dispensation of his providence, has removed from our midst Brother William Boyd Therefore,
Resolved. That in the death of brother William Boyd, society has lost an ornament, the church a strong pillar, the children an affectionate father, the wife a kind and true husband, and masonry an honored and efficient worker. That we revered him while living, we will cherish his memory whilst we live.
Resolved. That we offer to his bereaved family our sympathy and condolence.
Resolved. That a copy of these resolutions be sent to the bereaved family, and that they be spread upon the books of our lodge and that they published in the Dexter Harold and the Winterset Madisonian.
