SOLDIER'S FUNERAL SCHEDULED MONDAY - Drayton - Funeral services will be held here Monday for Trooper Glenn W. LaFrance who was killed in a motorcycle accident last Monday at the Canadian Forces Base at Lahr, West Germany. He was 18. His body was to be flown from Germany to the Canadian Forces Base at Trenton Friday night and transferred to Drayton today. Details of the accident are sketchy, said a military spokesman in a telephone interview from Camp Borden. LaFrance was a former student at Norwell district secondary school in Palmerston and was a member of the Royal Canadian Legion, Elora Branch 229. He was also a member of the Independant Order of Foresters, Court Conestoga No. 1169 and of Drayton United Church. Surviving are his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Al LaFrance of RR 2, Alma, one brother, one sister, maternal and paternal grandparents.
