Delia a well known resident of Galesburg, remains were brought here over the Santa Fe to the home of her niece. Her husband had died only a short time age. She was the daughter of Mr & Mrs Western Ferris one of the pioneer settlers of this county. Married Aug 29, 1870 William H Brainerd; a greater part of her life was spent here. At one time the family moved to Wash. D.C. where resided 15 years. They later moved to Kansas City Mo. Two daughters survive her. This obit was copied from a newspaper and published bythe Knox Co. Genealogical Society.
